At Cedarbrook, we’re building bridges to the local community by serving the needy.  One of Jesus’ closest companions described him as one who went around doing good (Acts 10:38).   As followers of Jesus, we are deeply committed to doing good, serving others by meeting needs in their lives that they may not be able to meet on their own.  We’re here for the sake of others.  We’re . . . HERE4GOOD.

Celebrate Life

Celebrate Life is a life affirming, grace filled ministry to unborn babies and their families. There is no more needy in our community than babies in the womb who have no voice to defend themselves. Our purpose is to support life at all stages, and believe that expressing Christ’s love to the unborn and to their mothers and fathers honors God.

Clarksburg Closet

Clarksburg Closet is a clothing ministry that will help our community who are in need of clothes.

The Dwelling Place

Provides subsidized housing for families working their way out of homelessness.  Cedarbrook supports The Dwelling Place by furnishing these apartments with everything from furniture and linens, to toys in the toy box and food in the fridge.

ESOL offers free conversational English classes between October and May, on Wednesday evenings from 7pm-9pm, to adult students in a classroom setting where fully trained caring volunteers provide the opportunity to practice English, learn pronunciation and communication skills while also learning about the American culture.

Sophia House

Sophia House is an emergency shelter for homeless women with issues related to domestic violence and long-term disabilities. Once a month, women from Cedarbrook provide residents with breakfast, dinner, and companionship.
