I’m the short bald guy who started Cedarbrook thirty years ago. Of course, I had a lot of help from many wonderful and gifted people, among them my wife, Sharon. I couldn’t have done it without her. She’s my toughest critic and loudest cheerleader and together we have six kids and twelve grandkids and fifty-plus years of marriage. I’m a fourth-generation pastor, (my dad, his dad, and his dad – all pastors, all bald) so I guess you could say it’s in my blood. I love the church Cedarbrook has become. I think we’re doing the things a church ought to do: helping the needy just because they’re needy; giving lots of time and attention to worshipping God just because he’s God. So I love it here. I also love sitting on the beach with a good book.
