Cedarbrook has been partnered with Moises and Santos Buendia, church planters in Peru, for close to 15 years now. Our High School Ministry plays a huge role in this partnership and in a few short weeks 68 students and leaders will be heading down to work alongside the Perales Church once again. We love this church and these people. We are excited for all God has done and is doing through them to be a light for the gospel in their community and surrounding area.
This church has prayed for a building for their church for almost 20 years. They have trusted God for His timing. They have saved over the years. This small church, in an impoverished area of Lima, has saved $15,000. That is an astronomical number for them. As mentioned this morning at Cedarbrook, a building has become available for purchase. Cedarbrook, along with two other churches, is partnering together to help them raise the money needed to purchase this building to use for God’s glory in their community. The cost of the building is $150,000 and our desire between our three churches is to raise $135,000 by July 31.
Our goal for Cedarbrook is to raise $50,000. The missions team here at Cedarbrook has found $25,000 in our budget we believe we can commit to this effort. We need you, the good people of Cedarbrook, to make up the difference. We have an incredible opportunity to bless this church and this community.
