ALPHA WINTER 2023

February 28 - May 2

7:00pm

ABOUT ALPHA

WHAT IS ALPHA?

Alpha creates a safe and informal space to explore and discuss questions about life, faith, and God.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND ALPHA?

Everyone is welcome to come to Alpha! People attend for a variety of reasons. Some want to investigate whether God exists and if there is any point to life; others are concerned about what happens after death. Some may have attended church on and off but feel they never really understood the basics of the Christian faith. People come from many different backgrounds, holding many different viewpoints – but all come with the same objective: to establish whether Jesus Christ has any relevance in their lives.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

WHAT IS ALPHA LIKE?

First, there is food.

Each evening you will enjoy a free, delicious catered meal with your small group of 6-10 people and get to know each other.

Then there is a video.

Generally, thirty minutes long, these videos are designed to engage and inspire conversation. They will explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity.

Followed by discussion.

This is the most important part of the evening: the chance to share thoughts, ideas, and questions on the topic, and simply discuss it in a small group. There is no obligation to say anything… and there’s nothing you can’t say. It is an opportunity to talk about things in an honest, friendly and open environment.

WHEN DOES ALPHA BEGIN?

Our first get-together is Tuesday, February 28 at 7:00 p.m.

We will meet every Tuesday evening through May 2.
