ALPHA

Join us this spring for Alpha. Alpha is a set of dinner gatherings where we learn about the Christian faith. These weekly sessions meet for ten weeks. In each meeting, we discuss different questions about faith, and the goal is to encourage open and safe conversations. Free childcare is provided.

WHAT IS ALPHA?

Alpha creates a safe and informal space to explore and discuss questions about life, faith, and God.

WHO IS ALPHA FOR?

Everyone is welcome to come to Alpha! People attend for a variety of reasons. Some want to investigate whether God exists and if there is any point to life; others may have attended church on and off but feel they never really understood the basics of the Christian faith. People come from many different backgrounds, holding many different viewpoints – but all come with the same objective: to establish whether Jesus Christ has any relevance in their lives.

WHAT IS ALPHA LIKE?

First, there is food. Each evening you will enjoy a free, delicious catered meal with a small group of 6-10 people and get to know each other.

Then there is a video. Generally, thirty minutes long, these superb videos are designed to engage and inspire conversation. They will explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity.

Followed by discussion. This is the most important part of the evening: the chance to share thoughts, ideas, and questions on the topic, and simply discuss it in a small group. There is no obligation to say anything… and there’s nothing you can’t say.
