The Wave is a space for students to form relationships, to hear about Jesus, take next steps, and have a ton of fun along the way. We meet Sunday mornings during the 11:15am service in the Refuge. Oasis is designed specifically for High Schoolers. Each Sunday during our weekly gathering, students experience a combination of games, music, teaching, and small group interaction with their peers. We meet Sunday nights at 6:30pm in the Refuge. UPCOMING EVENTS PARENT RESOURCES VOLUNTEER

  • GLOBAL MISSIONS | cedarbrook

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20 GLOBAL MISSIONS CAMBODIA Cambodia Hope Organization In Cambodia, we are privileged to partner with Chomno In. Sent to a work camp at age 14, Chomno endured starvation and torture at the hands of the Khmer Rouge; he alone of his family survived. After liberation and while living in a refugee camp, a Christian doctor introduced him to Christ. Chomno is now the founder of Cambodia Hope Organization, helping rebuild his country torn asunder by 30 years of civil war. KENYA Compassion International In Kenya, working with Compassion International, we are partnering with a local church in Githunguchu, Kenya. This church is doing a great job proclaiming and demonstrating God's love in their community and we are thrilled to come alongside them to advance the cause of Christ together. PERU Reformed Church of "Los Perales" and Iglesia Presbiteriana Piedra Viva In Peru, Cedarbrook Student Ministries partners with two church planters, Moises and Santos Buendia, pastors who have a heart for planting churches all across Peru – in the coastal city of Lima, in the mountain villages of Lircay and Huancavelica, and in jungle villages along the Amazon. MEET OUR MISSION PARTNERS Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. • ALPHA | cedarbrook

Alpha creates a safe and informal space to explore and discuss questions about life, faith, and God. ALPHA Join us for Alpha! Alpha is a set of dinner gatherings where we learn about the Christian faith. These weekly sessions meet for ten weeks. In each meeting, we discuss different questions about faith, and the goal is to encourage open and safe conversations. Free childcare is provided. GOT QUESTIONS? October 7 - December 9 7:00pm SIGN UP WHAT IS ALPHA? Alpha creates a safe and informal space to explore and discuss questions about life, faith, and God. WHO IS ALPHA FOR? Everyone is welcome to come to Alpha! People attend for a variety of reasons. Some want to investigate whether God exists and if there is any point to life; others may have attended church on and off but feel they never really understood the basics of the Christian faith. People come from many different backgrounds, holding many different viewpoints – but all come with the same objective: to establish whether Jesus Christ has any relevance in their lives. WHAT IS ALPHA LIKE? First, there is food. Each evening you will enjoy a free, delicious catered meal with a small group of 6-10 people and get to know each other. Then there is a video. Generally, thirty minutes long, these superb videos are designed to engage and inspire conversation. They will explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity. Followed by discussion. This is the most important part of the evening: the chance to share thoughts, ideas, and questions on the topic, and simply discuss it in a small group. There is no obligation to say anything… and there’s nothing you can’t say. VOLUNTEER CONTACT
