Come check us out and find a place for your student to belong and grow closer to Jesus. Middle School can be an awkward, lonely, and confusing time for students. The Wave is a space for students to form relationships, to hear about Jesus, take next steps, and have a ton of fun along the way. We meet Sunday mornings during the 11:15am service in the Refuge. Oasis is designed specifically for High Schoolers. Each Sunday during our weekly gathering, students experience a combination of games, music, teaching, and small group interaction with their peers. We meet Sunday nights at 6:30pm in the Refuge.

Cedarbrook is an elder-led church. The elders set the goals of the church, the values the church is to embody, and the policies the church is to follow. The Senior Pastor and the ministry staff implement strategies and programs to meet those goals, embody those values, and follow those policies. At Cedarbrook, we call these men, the “Leadership Team.” GOVERNANCE Cedarbrook is an elder-led church. At Cedarbrook, we call these men, the “Leadership Team.” On the other side of our governance is our deacons and deaconesses, or our “Board of Directors.” These men and women lead and steward the operations and finances of the church so the staff and elders can focus on ministry and the spiritual care of our church family. Much of the New Testament sets forth descriptions of both what church leaders should look like and how the church should be governed. In the Bible, there is great diversity in who leads where and how. But what stands out is that all leaders are servant-oriented, sacrificial, Spirit-led, and wisdom-based. All of our leaders serving as an elder or as a deacon or deaconess possesses these qualities for leadership.

Though Jesus is the very Son of God, he did not come to earth to be served by humankind. Instead, he came to serve and put others above his own interests and needs. As disciples of Jesus, we serve others by building up the body of Christ and our surrounding community. SERVE The church is more than a building—it's the people. Every impactful moment we create is made possible by dedicated volunteers. When you offer your time and talents, you move from simply attending church to actively being the church.
