JULIA SEIFERT Promiseland Director I’m the Children’s Ministry Director, and I absolutely love getting to know the kids, families, and amazing volunteers in Promiseland. I graduated from Colorado Christian University with a degree in Christian Education, and it’s been such a joy to live out that calling in a role that’s all about building relationships and helping young hearts grow in faith. When I’m not at church, you’ll probably find me outside enjoying nature, deep in a good book, or working on a new craft project. I’m married to my wonderful husband, Aiden, and we love sharing life’s little adventures together. Fun fact, I’ve been on mission trips to both Peru and Kenya! Sent to a work camp at age 14, Chomno endured starvation and torture at the hands of the Khmer Rouge; he alone of his family survived. After liberation and while living in a refugee camp, a Christian doctor introduced him to Christ. Chomno is now the founder of Cambodia Hope Organization, helping rebuild his country torn asunder by 30 years of civil war. KENYA Compassion International In Kenya, working with Compassion International, we are partnering with a local church in Githunguchu, Kenya. This church is doing a great job proclaiming and demonstrating God's love in their community and we are thrilled to come alongside them to advance the cause of Christ together. PERU Reformed Church of "Los Perales" and Iglesia Presbiteriana Piedra Viva In Peru, Cedarbrook Student Ministries partners with two church planters, Moises and Santos Buendia, pastors who have a heart for planting churches all across Peru – in the coastal city of Lima, in the mountain villages of Lircay and Huancavelica, and in jungle villages along the Amazon.
